What a Whirlwind Week

There is so much going on at Jersey Girl.  It seems now that everyone has gotten the kids off to school the phone is ringing off the hook.  It's very exciting to see that there are so many people out there interested in selling Jersey Girl Couture.  This has been a week of a lot of meetings and many phone calls.  I want to personally welcome the newest distributor, Laurie Sansone.  I was very impressed with her from the moment I spoke with her.  After meeting her we both knew she was a perfect fit for JGC.  I know that there will be great things to come adding her to the team.
Tonight also was the first JGC conference call.  I have to say I was a little nervous at first but it went really well. It was very nice to see all of the distributors made it onto the call.
We have a lot of upcoming events.  Next week we are doing a benefit for a Woman's Domestic Violence organization.  I have a very dear friend who is a true survivor and the organization is honoring her next Wed.  This is really such a wonderful organization that offers women not only hope and support but also helps them get on their feet.  I will keep you posted on the location and the time.
We are also booked at Centra State hospital October 13 to do a large vendor event they have that benefits Oncology and I believe Juvenile Diabetes.  This is supposed to be a terrific event and they are both great causes.  The only problem is I have to be there at 6 in the morning.  If you know me you know that this is terrible for me.

On to a personal note.
2 out of the 4 kids started school this week.  I don't know about you guys but I am a nervous wreck the first week.  As much as I was ready for them to go and  they were ready, I cried the whole way home leaving them.  I know they are 7 & 8 (almost 9 next week)  but I can't help myself.  I was so relieved when they got off that bus with huge smiles on their faces and tales of the wonderful teachers and friends that they had met.
My little guy had pre-school orientation today.  He is a Momma's boy.  I had to promise him I would not leave him there, which of course I didn't.  It is amazing how attached and shy he became over the summer.  I am really nervous how he will be on Monday.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will go in and not shed any tears.
My husband, Anthony and I ate at a wonderful restaurant today.  It think it was called L'Acqua it is in the Freehold Boro across from Rita's Italian ice.  The food was terrific.  I have to say probably the best Italian food I have had since I live in the area.  They are new so if you are in the area stop by they can use the business and you won't be disappointed.
I hope you all had a great week and for all of you mom's out there I hope all of your children did okay for their first week back to school
Have a great night
Michelle
